About Dr. Mike

I Knew that I wanted to be a dentist since I was in 4th grade. After 36 years of full time general dentistry practice I still love being a dentist. I have deep and meaningful relationships with my patients, and they have honored me by their kind words (500 five-star reviews – see Michael Lacey DMD Rate a Biz). I have an amazing staff where many have blessed me with many years of faithful partnership providing exceptional service to our patients. I continue to find learning stimulating and have taken thousands of hours of continuing education throughout my career. This has allowed my practice to develop a comprehensive approach to dentistry. I have been told by many that I am an extremely positive, compassionate and encouraging individual, who consistently attempts to elevate others over self. I find great joy in mentoring others whether it is my staff, my patients or my associates in SE Asia. I look forward to sharing these skills as a part-time volunteer at OHSU School of Dentistry.
